I managed to miss this thread until just now. You rode past my house this morning, then!! (My road is on highway 70 between I-40 exits 59 and 55.)

I just ran her stats.

She is just over 75% of the complete at 14.5 hours. She is averaging 52.3 mph with approx. 255 miles left to go. Piece of cake. She has 9.5 hours to get those miles done. (or 26 mph.)

So damn proud of her, for taking on a Goliath and kicking his ass.

There are lane closures on 95 northbound in Richmond with major delays. Just after 85 and 95 merge, take Rt. 36 east to get onto I-295. This will route you around Richmond and will bring you back onto 95 north of the city. It's only going to add 10 miles at most to the route and will keep you moving.

As they say down here. ... You're entering turn four and going for the checkered. You go girl!

I'd love to see this through but it's midnight, I've driven 450 miles from near Rennes in France to home (10 miles north of Cambridge) and I'm knackered.
I'll have to catch up in the morning.

I just rode 13 hours in the car and I felt smashed!

I drove 600km to bring my scooter back from the repair shop, had a nap and dinner, rode 60km on the scooter and I'm still tired. That is some endurance you have Amy.

Not to derail this thread, but in addition to Amy's personal endurance, that is some pretty incredible mechanical endurance from a single lung 250cc engine. Sustained 50 mph plus for over 1000 miles. Not bad for a simple machine.
