I've been thinking about getting a smaller, in-town bike for a while. For one thing, it'll save wear and tear on my MP3 for just tooling around. For another, I can get one that'll be Cannonball legal, if I end up doing that in 2016. Most of all, I just want a change. (I should probably sell my Ninja, since it'll get ridden even less now. We'll see...)

I've looked at, and tried to get, a few bikes, but nothing has come through. Last week, I finally was able to finish a deal and picked up a 2007 Vino 125 I used to have a Vino 125 until it was stolen 5 years ago, and I have missed it.

I think I might win the award for fewest miles by the previous owner, with 8 between when he titled it a couple months ago and when he sold it. (The bike itself has 8500 miles, but only 8 were by him since its purchase.)

Getting it titled and licensed was a major ordeal, but eventually I got it done. I'd forgotten how responsive this little bike is with the 10" wheels, almost to the point of being twitchy.

So, now I get to start the process of modding a fresh bike all over again. Any suggestions, let me know...

And now what I'm sure you're all waiting for, the pics:
Left side. Looks like it got laid down and pretty scratched up. Yet another reason to start modding...

I once owned a 125 Vino as well. It is a well built and fun little scooter. Enjoy!

Yeah, an Italian name for a bike from a Japanese company, manufactured in Taiwan...

One of the most popular mods is to put the Asian market turn signals and brake light on the American bike. But other than Japan, possibly Taiwain, and US and Canada, I don't know if it was sold anywhere else. The model number was YJ125, if that helps...

According to Wikipedia, there was a nearly identical model called the Fino made in Thailand.
