Just thought if share this. I love my lift. Can't beat it for 240 bucks.

You can google "Harbor freight 20% off coupon" and find one to print or scan from your phone.

I haven't found a 20% off that works with the lift, have a direct link? Gotta read the fine print. Even the "super coupons" don't work on the lift.

I used a coupon I clipped out of a motorcycle magazine when I bought mine.

The only time they won't let you use a coupon is combined with another coupon.

I used a downloaded coupon to buy an aircompressor that was on sale and got an additional 20 off.

try this: You just tell them, or show them the code number at checkout. I've never been refused on any offer.

Most of the codes don't work if you punch them into the shopping cart online.

Wonder if you just bring one of these coupons into the store.

Except that it's NOT a floor jack. http://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result/index/?p=2&q=floor+jack It's motorcycle lift. Totally different product.

or don't use that coupon. The one I got out of a magazine didn't say that. Motorcycle World, I think.

I promise, they love giving shit away over there at HF. Just use one of those online codes form the other site.

It's still a good buy at $299 if you don't want to track down a coupon.

I mentioned this to my wife last night and she looked at me and said, in her very best "this is not a discussion" voice, "No."

This morning, we drove past a Harbor Freight and I said, "Look, Harbor--"

Before I could even finish, she cut me off: "No."

Yeah, for me, that's the extra irony. We don't even have a garage, she's just pre-emptively telling me I can't have it.

Mine sits under the car port. I can park my truck right over it.

i've tried that promotion code but doesn't work, however anyone been using this lift for more than years and still found no problem? cause the buy work at the store told me that there is no replacement pump for this lift, i'm just worry may be a year or two later if that failed, and i end up with a big, heavy pile of metal siting in my garage floor.

My friends at the New Orleans Scooter Co Op shop have one that they've been using for several years. It gets lots if use, as they work on a lot of scouters often.

I imagine if I lube and maintain it as directed it might last a while. I've had mine almost two years I think, with nothing but good experiences.

That looks nice to have, but would take up too much room for me. My 1-car garage has a work bench, 2 storage shelves, 6 bicycles, a bike trailer, a lawn mower, and 2 scooters jammed into it, so I built my own rack for engine removal a couple of years ago for about $20. It breaks down into 3 pieces that can be stacked up against the wall and once set up, holds the front down for engine removal. Once out, the boom and pallet come back off and the T-section serves as a secure frame stand sans engine.

In a nutshell... the big bolt, which works as a front wheel stopper, is temporarily removed while the bike is pushed in from behind. The center stand feet get positioned on each side of the T-section and the bike is pushed back up onto its stand. Tie-down straps and a canyon dancer are hooked to the eyebolts and tightened up, pulling the front of the rack upwards into the front wheel. The big bolt is replaced to keep the bike from escaping forward, the boom and pallet are attached to the front, weights, toolboxes, etc, are piled on the pallet and the rear of the bike is then lifted up for removal. Once out, the front will stay down on its own and the boom and pallet can be removed and put back out of the way. Because of kids around, just to be safe side I put a milk crate under the rear bumper so it can't accidently get tipped backwards. The frame minus engine on the stand can be slid around the garage floor pretty easily due to the plywood base.

While it doesn't get it off the ground for easy access, it does everything else I could want. When working on the floor, I just cut up a large cardboard carton into a pad and lie on that.

Cheap. Works.
I like this. I'm still confused where the boom pivots to raise the back end.

Most of the codes don't work if you punch them into the shopping cart online.

Wonder if you just bring one of these coupons into the store.

you can print it out, show it to them on your phone, or just give them the coupon code number.

I use them all the time with no problem.
Got denied at the checkout today. Manager said "coupon codes are not gonna work. It's on the "parking lot sale" price. Never gets lower"
He said if someone got it for less, the store must be doing something special for them.

That sucks. Probably because of the Parking lot sale. Either that or they just don't care here at my local store.

I've got that one now, seems like I paid $69 with coupon.

Works OK for little stuff, but the large frames get kind of tippy on it, and exhaust gets in the way I think.

howdy, just a word to those who have heard of ram problems on this lift. if you go to the stop and keep trying to pump it higher you blow the seals out of the ram. that's the problem they have with this lift. if you don't pump it till it stops, it will be fine and last forever.

lotsa miles and smiles to ya
