In the last little while, the keys for my ET2 have been really hard to get in and even harder to get out of both the igniton and seat locks.

I thought my one set had just worn down a lot, so I switched to my backup set, but the same problem persists.

Have I ruined the inside of both locks somehow?

Is it the colder weather now? I don't recall this happening last year in the winter...

Can anyone else relate?

If it was just your ignition lock, or just your seat lock, I'd say you probably have a bent pin in the lock mechanism. Try treating the locks with a dry lock product containing graphite (or similar lock lubricant). If that doesn't work, maybe its time to visit your local locksmith.

I use a pinpoint oiler and add 1-3 drops "where it counts" once a year....smooth as silk. 1-3 drops....
