Here's my annual list of small and large rallies and events across the UK, some old, some new, some tried, some true, come along and you won't be blue...

I'll update the master list below as usual when new dates appear or annual events get confirmed (e.g. Great London Ride Out etc), so the first page should always be up to date. Flyers will get added on following pages and other UK MVers will probably post up as they've done in previous years. Seperate threads will get started to make plans for particular events. It's all good - see you out there 8)

If anyone is interested in Belgian Vespa Days over August Bank Holiday (maybe as a test run for Vespa World Days in France next year?), the Vespa Club of Britain are gathering a list of names so they can bid for a batch of tickets on behalf of members on or around 1st Feb. No ticket, no go.

It has a good reputation, well hosted and organised, and at a great venue this year...

Clacton Ride Out

Peterborough Egg Run. Well established, well attended and good apparently

Anyone up for any of these ???

Should be up for one or both on 29 February and 1 March, but will know nearer. Might consider driving to Brewers for a quick up and back if weathers not great. Haven't done Brewers before. Wickies is predictable but on the up side lots of local riders turn out so I catch up with mates for what's normally the first main ride and meet of the year.

Done the egg run three times. Between 80 and 200 scoots. A good run round the roads and parkways of Peterborough. Marshalled twice by the police and by the Peterborough club last year. Either way all junctions, traffic lights and roundabouts were held open for us.

I've never done the ents afterwards, just a pint in the Cherry Tree!

The Egg run is looking better for me now because I can't do the VMSC show the following day due to Mother-in-laws birthday lunch (groan). So could be a ride over late morning, quick bite to eat somewhere midday then join the ride meet point at 1pm?

Always a good day - relaxed ride down, loads of trads and autos, mass ride route and a social afterwards 8)
