Relay
What is the purpose of having a relay on the new horn? How does this affect it electrically?
Thanks, -Anthony |

The Stebel requires more power than the stock horn. The horn button and wiring isn't really up to the task. The relay protects your switch wiring.

Micbergsma great job. I would however suggest painting or treat that drill hole, cuz I would be worried about rust starting on the exposed metal. Perhaps I'm just too cautions...though.

Yes it did. I was just curious (and lazy) so I tried just hooking up the horn to the stock wires. It lasted almost 3 seconds before blowing the fuse. |
