Tire replacement this Friday. Would like to get the torque values squared away. I'll be using the middle of the range. If I get any wrong, please let me know so I can edit them. I can use standard specification tables but they recommend factory spec.
I'm using the pictures from the German forum. By the way, anyone know where to get the dipstick thermometer shown in the pic's.

the caliper retaining bolts don't get a ton of torque. maybe 15~18ish or so, but i always throw a drop of loctite on there.

same for the swing arm bolts, 18~20 but no loctite on them.

those values for the shock attachment seem a bit high, but i don't have the book in front of me and i've slept since the last time i did one... either way, throw a drop of loctite on them too.

Thanks g, my Honda lower shock bolts are 20 lb ft and upper are 27 lb ft. I'll check the bolt size with the std. spec. tables.

i think that the BV manual is in the wiki? if so, that will have the specs for sure.

at any rate, if you can, don't fully remove the top bolt. just kinda shimmy it out of the way enough to drop the shock and then snap it back in so it doesn't fall out. that thing is a right chore to get back in and lined back up.

also, i think that you need to remove the bolts holding the inner fender on so that you can move it enough to remove the tire. if so, be sure to loctite those back in too.

best of luck with it!

I use the online manual. but it's not easy to find info. wish it was like my Honda manual.
Look at the way the Honda manual shows the torque values
