I just got my new helmet today. So went for a ride and I like it. It's a Bell Pit Boss 1/2 Helmet. I had a HJC 1/2 helmet but I couldn't find it so I ordered the Bell. It's got a great feature that the HJC didn't have and that's a pull down shield. The only thing that is a bit negative is there are no vents in it. That's to bad. It's a great helmet. I also have an Arai full face helmet that I used when I had my BMW's. I'll probably use that one some but I prefer the 1/2 helmet for the hot weather.

I ordered one of the Bell Mag-9 3/4 helmets with flip shield and vents recently as I have been happy with my previous Bell Mag-8 helmets which are no longer being manufactured.

I needed the large size in the Mag-9 versus the medium in the Mag-8 for some reason, but am real pleased with the Mag-9.

The Bell mags have been my favorite 3/4 helmet as well. I really like the flip up face shield and the peak (bill).

I had a helmet that had a bill/peak on it and found that at highway speeds the wind forced the helmet back. Around town and local speeds it worked great. Does anyone have experience with the Mag-9 at, say, 60 mph or greater?

So far my Mag-9 has been great at highway speed, say over 60, riding without a windshield.....

Not too many miles like that, but would think I would have noticed quickly if it bothered me.
