Hi all
just wanted to ask if any one has made a solution to the light that seaps through the headlight with a jettin peak on their scoot

it really is a bit bothersome at night

thanks all

That would be annoying,

Maybe a bit of black tape on the Inside edge? Maybe some form a really thin mirror strip that would reflect the light back where it's intended to go?

Seems like a pain nether the less!

Ivana Tinkle has one on her GTS - no gap or light leakage, it snugs right up.

Use a Latex caulk that can easily be removed, Not a roof caulk
Even better get DAP Peel Away Caulk.

Tape or weatherstrip around the inner lip.

Don't goop any caulk on your scoot. It's not a bathroom fixture. It won't work and will look terrible. You'll regret it.

A nice thin bead of the peel away caulk on the inside would be fine and it just peels off with you finger.

Make sure you use a heat resistant tape that will also not react with the paint(rare for a reaction but possible!). The headlight gets very hot and id hate for it to melt. Standard electric tape may work for a while untill it eventually peels.
