I'm seriously thinking about adding a larger scoot for touring, and i really like the bv500. However, I'm pretty sure that they're only EPA approved and not Cali CARB approved. Does anyone have any info on this? Alternatively, if you own one can you look on the VIN label and tell me if it lists CARB in addition to EPA?

My local DMV was great about registering my gts that isn't CARB, but I don't know if I'd be so lucky a second time.

Is there some sort of after-market add on evap thing I can have the dealer put in?

howdy, i'm pretty sure the '07 I had was carb compliant having the evap garbage installed.

the '06 may have been carbureted rather than injected so I don't know.

lotsa miles and smiles to ya
