Hi,
I've been offered a pretty good deal on a Sito plus pipe. I have read that the Sip Road 2 is better but it would cost me a lot more.
It's for a 2012 PX150, stock standard right now. I only want performance gain (across the range) and I don't really want it super-loud.
Opinions please?
Cheers,
Staceman

You will only get moderate gains with a Sito+ and they're notoriously loud - for a box exhaust. But if the price is too good to pass up, grab it and try it out.

If you do end up getting it, don't forget to up your main jet by at least 2 sizes (eg. if you have a 100 main in there now, up it to a 102.) If you don't, you *could* be running too lean and end up seizing the motor.

if its super cheap grab it. Not insanely loud and will give you a little extra pep across the board. Yes upjet 2 sizes for sure. My current P came with one and it was OK. It will get you through until you have $$ to get something better. Do yourself a favor if you get it. Clean it up and shoot it with a nice coat of high temp engine paint. They are notorious for corroding.

I would pass.

Sito's are not the quietest exhausts to start with and only get noiser over time as the baffles get loose.

Your money is better put towards a BGM big box or Sip Road 2.

Grab it, try it, if ya hate it trade it.
I will generally snaffle performance parts, as someone will always want them, & its good to have a few bits to trade.

They are not super loud but do have tone to them that some people don't like.

If you have a catalysed exhaust at the moment the Sito+ ought to give a pretty noticeable boost. I would get it if it's something you can afford now, rather than having to wait.

DISCLAIMER: This is a strictly subjective opinion.

I have had both and never really saw much difference.
Maybe if you measure the performance it's different, but I can't "feel" it.
In fact, I prefer the tone of the Sito+ over the SIP Road2.
The Sip seems a little higher pitched to me.
When compared to the original catalyzed muffler, they are both a great improvement. You can't go wrong with either one.
I currently have the Sip on now and when ScooterWest put the Sito+ on sale last month I didn't hesitate to buy one.

I've got one on and I'll say it is noticeably louder than stock. More of a "tinnier" ring to it. I think power gains are mild. A bit more pull through the middle and top end. All that being said, I'd go for it on the cheap.

I decided not to do it. The SIP site sells the Road 2 and for 50 bucks more I can get one shipped to my door. That's what I'll get, going from info from this forum. I'll do a report when it's hooked up.

Thanks for the advice!
