J it's been that long? Hope all is well with you. Are you still riding the 200? I still have my LX and he has 35,000 miles on him now. 8) Don't be a stranger.

It's interesting to look at the early names- many who we don't see anymore. I've never lost my enthusiasm for either this forum or scooters in general. It seems that some folks just moved on to other interests. Life, I guess....

Been lurking every once in a while. Still have my lovely S125 but now that I've moved to a bicycle-friendly city, I mostly go around on my rex bicycle these days.

It's been quite a ride watching the twists and turns this forum has taken. Early days were a blast. It really does take a village. 8) If anybody remembers the BBS i started over there. Contrary to popular belief they were very nice to me. JRSJR was the one who told me about this forum and i've been bugging people ever since. I do miss quite a few of the earlier folks tho. Wish some of them would of said goodbye. Always wondered what happened to some of them.

5 months short of 10 years... really hard to believe we're both still here considering all the two wheel miles!
It's quite a testament that the whole site didn't crash and burn years ago. Kudos. |

R i don't get why people gave him such a hard time. He's such an avid rider. More so than most people on here. I suspect he's a loner and doesn't quite get the whole internet thing. His intentios were good.

S he wasn't banned but people made him uncomfortable and he got neg karma out the wazoo. The forum went thru a stage in the early Karma years. People would gang up on people. He has a neg karma rating. He might of had a "time out" but i forget. Was years ago. Karma rating is 100% better these days. New things always need a break in period and a few got caught up in it.

He was finally banned for starting a ghost account, after several temporary bans for 'being a dick'.

Great commentary - Varied Subjects
I have been around less than a year. Started after I purchased
my Vespa 300. Like many of you, I am on the internet most of the day at work and pop in and out Modern Vespa. I really like the international reach of the forum. Bob Copeland (Rain Today in Minnesota) |

Jim TBF I knew of at least one person who came back on for a while as a different person and was treated totally different. They left. So maybe he was pushed a tad to far. We had some cliques back then.

FROG spot on. You could sorta tell that he was that way in real life (boundaries) just looking at his scooter. The written word is a tricky thing. Can be interpreted many ways. Sounds like he's still going strong according to Rusty.
