so this weekend I took part in the first hurricane giro on the vespa 300
Fun filled 200 miles of time distance and navigation
I will tell you that there was riding on pavement, gravel roads and some seasonal roads that I would not attempt in less than a 4x4 the vespa was great
casualties were the rear reflector and crash bar - crash bar won
suspension was charged enough there is a ding in the top of my PM pipe
the front fender rattled loose but all else was great
I will piece together video in the week to come
touring the way they did it back in the day
BTW the item on the mirror is the route sheet roller and look at the lower leg shield to see they are caked with road grime
the road was so rough I used the hold down clamp for the rack to hold it in place and the bouncing made the rack move the side
stock tire are a no no need endure tires
