Hello
to choose, I prefer a Quad " in the category, any land or any road " the Quad, seems much more effective than this thing. ![]() ![]() but it is true it is very nice to the look ![]() |

The wheels stay parallel to the centre plane of the vehicle so it is conceptually the same as the MP3. More rear end grip would certainly be good if there was enough power to take advantage of it. But two rear wheels either mean a differential is required or some other compromise such as a freewheel on each.
Scooters are all about sacrificing ultimate handling and performance for every day practicality and I reckon the MP3 adds some more usability but pushes the boundary of design complexity just to the edge of what is realistic and affordable. Designs such as the Quadro are fine as toys for the wealthy but I can't see them succeeding in the mass market. |

maybe if that were to come in a 5 or 600 with a decent HP rating, it could potentially be fun to ride? the video is kind of cool showing how stable it is. I have seen that in person and if i am not mistaken, the 350 only has about 28HP or so. and carrying around 567lbs, that 28hp or so is not going very far. cool concept, but they need to step up the engine game.

I'm not saying it's a bad machine, I said she should remain in its field, "the road ". and I find it still very nice for the look . loulou. =) |

Quadro has presented a new concept bike (based on the Quadro4) at Salon Milan - BigQ. What is really interesting with BigQ is the 630cc engine it is equipped with. If this engine finds the way into the "regular" Quadro4 (currently sold in Europe with a 350cc engine only) this may become a very interesting bike indeed!

kind of sucks they only stuck with the 350cc motor. looks like it has a lot of potential, but the 28hp and all that weight really hold it back. the build quality of those are not that great though. my local dealer has a few different quadro models, and they aren't really anything special IMHO. the build quality of the MP3 is nothing to write home about, but the quadro is even worse.

I agree about the production quality, I've tested the 350S and the Peugeot Metropolis and I still find that the MP3 has the best experienced build quality. Furthermore, the fourwheeler (Quadro4 with 350cc engine) is 30% more expensive than MP3 500 LT at my market and has half the service intervall (5000 km compared to 10000 km for MP3) - but there is still something with that bike that attracts me. I will at least have to take a test ride when spring arrives... |

I suppose if you don't mind higher maintenance(more tires, belts, etc.), lower mpg due to more drag on the motor, drive train than without all the added parts vs. a MP3....................

And according to a couple of articles on the web the engine seems to cope well with the 275kg/610 pounds Myroad 700i. Quadro4 with 350cc engine weights 245kg/540 pounds. |

Except for the drivetrain, all of that describes the drawbacks of an MP3 compared to a 2-wheeler. |

The 350 engine is nice since my 250 barely makes it for me. If it won't take me weeks just to get a simple part, then it's a good contender!
