Modern Vespa

Hi folks,new member here.I have a question.I am very new to scootering,i've just got myself a primavera.Can anyone tell me what the black rubber parts under the main body do?i'd guess they bung holes up.But what if i took them off ,is it for access for maintainance maybe?

In my experience most of those are plugs that are not removed for any regular maintenance. One exception are the plugs located along the rear sides of the floor that give access to the motor swing arm.
