Speaking of packaging...anything I have to send USPS gets wrapped in stooopid amounts of bubble wrap because their skills at breaking things borders on miraculous.
I wrapped a shot glass in bubble wrap, put it inside a bubble wrapped pint glass which in turn was placed inside a bubble wrapped German stein. Wiggle-room was eliminated with bubble wrap in any gaps. The package was never opened at all in-transit.
So...how the F did they manage to break the *shot glass* but NOT break the stein or the pint glass?!?

Moral of the story - More bubble wrap.

I thought it might be time for an update. In addition to the ones listed earlier the following members have signed up:

Marcus Argentus, yanobobano, summerscoots, Retroguy, avallorz, ks7877, ChipH, davidmasse, wmak, darqmommy, vintage red matthew, Chriski, PrimaBlanco1, Mobillia, Rae, Peterob, CJ Scoot, racerjack44 and flordian.

Autocorrect had problems with some of those names. I had to be creative on the one that is kind of like Floridian before it would accept that that's what I really wanted.

I have two additional members in the US that don't want to ship international and one each in the UK and New Zealand. One reason people don't want to ship internationally is because they are sending food or something that might have trouble with customs. The two in other countries are waiting for another member willing to ship overseas.

The sign ups are coming in at about one every day or two. Since it takes three to make a group if you sign up now it might take a week or so to get an address to mail to. There is still no cut off date imminent. At some point it will no longer be practical. It depends on whether new ones keep coming in or not. I'm thinking we might wrap it up about Dec 10th but that's not carved in stone.

If you haven't sent your gift out yet not to worry. I've only bought half of mine yet. There's still time.

Soon will begin the fun part when we get to watch the gifts coming in. Don't forget to post a picture when you get and /or open yours. Some people wait till Christmas. Some, like me will rip them open right away.

EEEEeeee so excited this was a lot of fun for us (my husband and I packed the box full of scoot themed goodies last year.)
