Its been just under a year! wow that went quickly

Been studying - just finished a Master of Railway Safety Management, so am now free to play.

My Scoot is still a daily workhorse, with 48000 on the clock

I will admit, I have gone back to cage ownership - but more for fun

So I'm getting excited; the gift I plan to send to my SS recipient arrived at my house. Now I just to package it festively and send it off. Hope I did a good job.

On a completely unrelated note; totally digging Twin's vintage Rover. What is that, late 60's?

Sweet; have loved that body style since Matchbox produced them when I was a kid. Like any vintage vehicle, I bet it's fun to drive and has it's own personality.

I may have received the first one, back on the 15th. Not sure if there will be a thread for those who wish to show off their swag, so I'll wait for Matthew's okay before revealing anything.

Obviously my Santa was local (and there aren't too many of us in this area), and my wife informs me he was quite a nice guy. Unfortunately it was a lovely afternoon and I'd left a few minutes earlier for ride on the scoot!

I will try and meet up with my benefactor to introduce myself and give the secret MV handshake.... 8)

I'm planning on making my gift, so I'd best get to it pretty soon.

Not only do you have my OK for revealing your gift you have my encouragement to do so as soon as you choose to open it. Most people will open thier gift on Christmas but if you want to open earlier we'd all like to see.

After Thanksgiving is probably best. This whole holiday creep gets me on edge, frankly. Something to be said for a little anticipation, too. Patience being a virtue and all.

I picked up 2 'presents' for myself already...an Asus laptop & an Nvidia Shield tablet. They weren't really presents though. I had to get them because both my desktop AND laptop decided to end their lives within 3 days of each other. Apparently they didn't want to continue helping me work on my 15 page research paper that was due Wednesday.

This computer double-whammy will not dim my spirit nor deter my efforts to provide my recipient with a joy-inspiring present by Christmas.

It has finally arrived, so should be on it's way later this week. Who knows, it might even make it by Christmas.

My Scooter...er...Secret Santa gift was delivered today. I have ZERO capacity to wait until December 25th...so I opened it already!

Mines going out today. However one part of it will go out when i get it. Damn thing maybe coming mid Jan. Ordered it last month.

All the people that sent in their addresses have been matched and sent an address to send to. I'm not saying that you can't submit your address but it's been several days since anyone else has and obviously I would need at least two to make a pairing. If you join now I can't guarantee you will be entered but you can try.

But enough of that. Now the fun part. Pictures of gifts have already been posted. Many more to come. I have received my gift. If you haven't sent yours out yet, like me, it's getting late. You'd better get on it.
