Package went out today 3-day! Per the chart on the Post Office door, it should arrive before Santa!

I give that about 50% chance of happening.

Honey Badger! You've got me all in the Christmas mood. A very rare Sunday afternoon USPS delivery brought me four gifts beautifully wrapped in comic graphics. They are now under the tree and waiting for Christmas morning.

And here they are! Lovely toffee and turtles, bike cleaner, and you can't see the detail: two ID tag key fobs, one for each scoot, engraved with my MV handle, name and address and scooter model. The opposite side is engraved with the tagline from my MV signature: "Never put off 'til tomorrow what you can do today; you might enjoy it today, and you can do it again tomorrow."

Well, considering she waited until today to open it, I'd say that was a good call.

Merry Christmas to all. I want to sincerely thank MV and two members in particular. y'all know who you are. In these hard times that card was a life saver used to replace the two bald tires I've been riding around on with the P2 and the BR. Could almost see the air in them and they were the only way I could get around. I can't thank you two enough. The struggle goes on, but I'm back to work and I wish all of you the absolute best.

My Christmas gift thank you goes out to Sanglant down in AL. Thank you for my AL "Off the Beaten Path." Beware, my scooter buddies and I have done big trips. We're headed to Utah and the desert SW this year, but who know...sweet home Alabama may beckon soon! Thanks again, and Merry Christmad!

Had the time and opportunity to go for a short ride today. First time I have had both Bella and Sofia out together. It was great scooting with the whole family, and the new jacket looks sharp and is excellent in the hot conditions.

There are a few loose ends to wrap up but I think we can safely call this years gift exchange a success. There are two members, both from Canada that have not received their gift yet. I suspect that the postal service is overwhelmed with Christmas presents. I'm keeping an eye on it.

I've said it before but if you did not get a gift please let me know. You might want to not be a bother or want to just let it go. There are several reasons why you should tell me. You may have been caught up in something like the situation I mentioned earlier. The person may have been given the wrong address. It's happened before. There may be other reasons that I can't think of. If the person just didn't send a gift I want to know that too so they won't be allowed to participate next year. I'm not going to be outing anybody.

Dividing everyone into groups of three worked great. It was much easier to keep track of everything. You can expect the same system next year.

I will be restarting it soon after Halloween, Oct 31, next year. Some might want to wait for Holiday activities to start until after Thanksgiving, the third week of November. I like to start early to give people plenty of time to shop, buy and ship. Join in whenever you feel comfortable.

It has been a pleasure dealing with all of you and seeing the gifts come in. The thread is still open. You can still post your thoughts. I probably will be back a time or two.

I can't wait till next year.

FYI - after Christmas shopping has already yielded treasures for me to send out next year!

I like to keep a gift box hidden in my closet, specifically for year round shopping of goodies. I have learned from experience, if it seems super awesome, don't wait, get it!
