Although I've met and corresponded with quite a few MVers over the years, Only a few have made it here to Israel.
This past Saturday night, chez treppenwitz was privileged to host MVer kpgo for a relaxed evening.
kpgo is a sweet teddy-bear of a man who, if he ever decides to come out of retirement and look for seasonal work, could easily land a very lucrative Santa Claus gig without the need for a fake beard.
I picked kpgo up in Jerusalem and brought him back to the house so he could meet the Mrs. and 'thing three' (our youngest son), and enjoy a home-cooked meal.
Since there was a slight chill in the air I put on a nice big pot of beef stew which was served with fresh bread and a tossed green salad. Dinner was washed down with ice cold San Miguel beer.
Over dinner and postprandial glasses of port, kpgo and I talked a good talk and came up with workable solutions to most of the world's problems. We actually managed to exchange ideas on a staggering range of topics... although somewhat ironically, very few scooter related.
Bottom line, I thoroughly enjoyed making kpgo's acquaintance and hope that other MVers will let me know if they have plans to be in my neck of the woods.
