My friend has some on her side panels to cover up a dent. She's replaced them and they didn't hurt the paint. Get a good quality one and you'll do fine. Here's a pic of hers. She has one on the other side also.

If you look on Facebook..... search for 'GTS Design' a guy called Paul, he'll sort you out - top bloke for all sorts of other stuff too.....

Also check out my avatar - my tool box door is all stickers - gently heat with a hairdryer to remove and a wipe with meths if there is any sticky residue left (oh er matron !!)

when (if) you want to remove them, just warm them up with a hair dryer and they should peel off in one piece without leaving any residue (so long as they are vinyl type)

Stickers themselves shouldn't damage the paint. But over a very long time the paint finish of areas that are exposed to daylight tends to age differently to areas protected under a sticker... It takes ages though, and varies a lot over different colour finishes.

Most people put stickers on the side after they've damaged the sides in a slide.

Also you can get sticker/sticker adhesive remover from Halfords... I recently bought a camper van with the ugliest stickers and it got those off no problem.

About £3.00 a can i think

Yes, Ms. Eldritch was suffering an infestation of daisies when I liberated her. i used a blow dryer to get them off. just beat and beat it with a blow dryer, really whaled on it, slinging it around by the cord. a few bashes and the stickers let go.
Or maybe I blew on them. it worked.

I think it helps to pull them off at a 30 degree angle.

I find using a hairdryer over the stickers currently on the panels to soften up the adhesive is a great help in removing stickers easy..and then apply eucalyptus oil to remove any left over residue adhesive/glue still stuck to the panel makes it all very easy to do.

For taking them off.........just wait till the height of summer and enjoy a adult beverage of your choice (of course in the shade) while the sun heats it up for you. Most likely will heat it up as much as a hair dryer........at least here it does/would. Razz emoticon
