No need to move to Florida to ride when we ride 12 months here, just south of you. I'll be riding to Napa for the club meeting on Tuesday evening. It will be cold (~60F), but with simple riding gear it's comfy.
I bought my GTS off CL in PDX. It was stored outside and had some oxidation on the aluminum parts but not on steel parts. The plastic parts had pretty deep stains but they cleaned up. Next time, I'll buy a CA Vespa if I buy used.
My Buddy 170i has never been wet!

I love it and couldn't agree more. What I want to do trumps 'her' opinion. Why do some men wimp out so easily? Pathetic. Grow a pair.

That might be too sensual to post? White bed sheets?

I've heard penetrating oil needs to soak like overnight or days for it to really work?

My P200 has been in a hotel room a few times without second thought. The hotels were dumpy and not in the best areas to even consider leaving it outside. With very little winter here there has never been reason to bring a bike into the house.

If I did not park it in the house I would not have came up with this snow chain idea. Needs bigger zip ties, what size? This might seem sexy, but probably should not...

I just got my first scooter a few weeks ago (1965 Allstate) and its in the garage. The problem I see is that with brutal winters, salt can get blown around the garage with the moisture and get into the scooter/paint, etc...

Is there a way to wrap it that people use or a cover that is almost like a bag that can keep it protected? Right now I have a tarp over it, but it doesn't help much. Or maybe it doesn't matter? I wouldn't bring it inside, but I don't have a shed, either.

R try one of these. It's a Cycle Shell. You can out it in the garage also. Somebody in my hood has one under their condo. Places are on stilts because we live in a flood zone. Good luck
