I'm not telling you to build a tuned motor. Im suggesting building a stock 200 while you are at it. It will cost you the same and take the same energy and yield a better result. The 200 will be just as quiet, perhaps smoother and of course more power.
yup,200 that's probably the way to go,partly because of the consistency of the parts ,my mate had an early px
and he liked the idea of rekindling his youth ,just been chatting and too may variables with the evolution of the 125,the trouble is "with balls" doesn't in my head really apply to smaller engines,i love mechanical "shit"
the px 125 is as valid as my R1 in the right context ,one of the things i really like about the vespa mentality is you guys take a little agricultural runabout and tune the life out of it lol but its still a little alien to me ,i,m from a bike background and still no totally comfortable with the riding position and having ridden a tuned px125 it feels utter madness to ride over 50mph but i'm starting to get it lol
i know i meander and am a little pedantic but i do listen and appreciate what you guys say and i do absorb it

You would be better off just building something that you can call your own than measuring bees dicks.
That's the idea isn't it
totally agree, part of my deliberations is not wanting build the generic 125 kitted clattering seize machine lol
