Something makes me wonder....this model is advertised to have a tank of 8.6l.
My last charge however was for 8.85l according to the meter.
So....either Vespa advertises with a buffer, or our Q8 station messes with the count.
I do always fill her up to the edge, I push and jiggle with it so that air comes up and I can fill up completely full.

Anyone have a similar experience?

One of my concerns regarding this irregularity is how they avertise.
Absolute tank contents is something I check before any purchase.
Below 6l is not very good because a lot of gas stations charge you a minimum of 5l.

Perhaps you are filling it up past where the manufacturer intended.

Quite possible, though there is no max fill line or anything.

Don't your pump nozzles shut off when full?

The auto shut off doesn't work right on motorcycles tanks, you end up with 1/2 or 3/4 of a tank.

But with experience, you learn how far down in the tank the nozzle should be to get a full tank shutoff.
