Modern Vespa

Hi All

I wonder if you guys can offer some advise ?

I have an lx50 that when you start it up I have now main lights or side light, also the little green light on the dash doesn't work.

when I toggle to main bean both the side light and main bulb work !!

I have taken it apart and when I remove the red plug at the switch the little green light comes on and the side light with the switch in dipped position.

when the red plug get connected out goes the green dash light and the side light.

could it be a faulty switch or some thing else

any thoughts guys

About the only thing I can think of is that the dipped beam filament of the bulb has gone partially short, dragging the AC feed down. Have you tested the bulb itself?
