I am really interested in buying both Scooter Techniques DVDs for the Vespa. One of the DVDs is called "Engine Rebuild" and the other "Running Maintenance". I could go ahead and purchase these online through a site in the United Kingdom, but why pay for overseas shipping and longer ship time if I can find these in the States or Canada.

My question is can I find these DVDs in north america? Preference Canada since I live there, and if not, the USA?

Great DVDs! Haven't found any vendors in North America. Wait until you need some parts and make a big order out of the UK. I used Beedspeed.

Two things;

1) Google copyright protection and read up on it

2) Email the producer Ian and he will lawfully sell you a set

I have them both and ordered them from the UK in NTSC format back before Steve Porter passed. The maintenance one I could've passed on because it's covered by so many other sources, but the teardown one is invaluable if you're new to working on Vespa engines. The only thing I wish it included was a carb rebuild.

I'm glad to see they're still available. If you're neurotic about mechanicals like me, some of the techniques shown may seem a little harsh, but regardless, he skillfully takes a new and old style P engine completely apart and reassembles them again. Priceless.
