Probably from the same era Douglas, the 1970s, the GMC diesel pickup. My brother bought one, and the happiest day of ownership was when he emerged from the grocery store and found it missing. It was stolen.

Where I worked we had a couple of the trucks, when they got bad, well badder than they were new, we bought some used Oldsmobile gas engines to slip in. As the diesel was actually a gas engine converted to diesel it was a pretty easy job to convert to take the gas engine.
