Fair dues chaps, I hear you loud and clear. The burger place looks good but menu is a tad limited, whereas this place (above) is used to catering for parties. Has a varied menu and as a bonus we can park the scooters on the cobbled area adjacent to the restuarant.

DOOMED, WE'RE ALL DOOMED

Just spoken to the D.A.M and it ain't happening..... (boo hoo). Firstly they only open on Saturdays (from 27th Feb thru' until 29th Nov) but will open for larger private parties on other days. Secondly on the 8th May they have a coach party booked in and they are doing the full tour (museum, walking round town and driving out to special sites in and around Thetford - like the end credits scene). So the D.A.M trip is a non-starter.

On the plus side it does give you long travelling souls a little longer in bed.

Should any of you fancy a trip up one Saturday, it's dadsarmythetford.org.uk and ask for Heather.

Right then, how does this sound...

Meet for 9:30-10am at Thetford McDonalds. On the road to Flixton by 10:30, it's about 50 minutes travel so we should be there for 11:30.

Couple of hours messing round at the museum I reckon we'll be done by 13:30, so I'll book a table for 14:30. Me and AWB will ride back down to Thetford with you all, we'll regroup at McDonald's for ta-ra's n'that.

Have found a pub on the outskirts of Norwich that has a good menu, a great reputation and a beeeeeeeeg car park. I'll book it tomorrow. Will be booking for 15 of us, so if anyone else wants in, or wants to drop out then please speak up in the next day or so.

Well done that man. If you get 15 on the day you'll have equalled the best turn out yet since April 2013 (13 in this shot but sure we had two more hiding...). More than that and you win! Did someone say prize?
