The Weather is changing in Minnesota to cold. I still have
both scooters on line in the garage waiting for opportunities
to ride around the neighborhood.

My wife is storing onions and potatoes on top of my Burgman.
I get no respect.

I am still on the bike here in Utah but I did clean the garage to ensure all the vehicles had a spot for the snow. It did drop a little last week but melted pretty quickly. Next week is promising more.

I rode to work this morning. Breezy, but not horrible. I was the only scoot parked in the clandestine parking area we've created for ourselves.

Still commuting to the office, though I'm a bit more circumspect about rain.

Windy as hell today, so sitting that out too. OTOH, once the wind stops, it's going to be around 60 again. May keep this going until December. 8)

My LX150, however, has gone to storage as it's become my wife's ride, and she's just not up for cooler weather. Fair enough.

Ten or more from 7 Bridges are riding 250 miles to Bradenton and back over the weekend. It will be chilly leaving Jacksonville Saturday morning but in the 80's down there. No rain in the forecast.

Be strong, Bill. I suspect you'll be able to handle the winter weather better than the rest of us. Razz emoticon 8)

High winds and rain made this a good day to do some winter riding prep. Laid on my back for a while getting road gunk off the bottom of the scoot. Then I got out the Termoscud which has been serving me faithfully since 2009. The lining has been flaking away so I laid down a heavy sheet of plastic and went nuts with duct tape! I'm getting shoulder surgery done soon so I'll be sitting out a good bit of winter this year

Hmm...I presume she knows not to store those potatoes n' onions too close together - and even though it's a Burgman, that might still be a bit too close? Razz emoticon

Took a long ride today in southeast Michigan, 65and Sunny. Lots of Harley's, scooters and bikes on the road. Next couple of days look the same.

Here's how it's been around these parts:

"hey look! The sun is out and the clouds overhead no longer look dark and menacing. My weather app says no rain for 120 minutes. Quick! Fire up the scooter and go for a 20 minute ride before it starts raining cats and dogs again." Actually, it's been that way for the last month. I'm not a wet weather rider (yet.) During the work week I'm pretty much screwed.

Had to ride to the dentist Friday morning. My gloves and rain jacket were still wet over 24 hours later. Of course the weather calmed right down the minute I got home

It just sucks, doesn't it? It's such a soaking rain. I don't know any gloves that would stay dry through all that. I got lucky once dodging clouds... the second I got my scoot on the center stand in the garage, the clouds ripped wide open and it was torrential downpour. I just stood there for several seconds, slack jawed. It can get pretty slippery out there...
