I could definitely go for seeing that again! ...I had to look up the date (1995), which confirmed my daughter was five when we saw it in the theater...a bunch of times. Sigh.

Yeah, good call. Someone mentioned Wallace and Gromit, as well, and I think I need more of that stuff in my diet.

I would prefer Jean Luc Picard and crew over JL and crew any day.

Agreed. In my opinion and many others they did a disservice to the character.

For everyone who was ever fired or forced out and replaced by someone younger, tonight was a good night.
I wasn't a fan of either team, but what Brady did was spectacular, and not just tonight.

Seeing Jack Black as a naked baby was a little disturbing....However The House with a Clock in Its Walls is a good fun movie if you aren't looking for a classic.

Star Trek Picard is Amazing.

Star Trek Discovery is just plain awful. The worst acting I have ever seen on TV period. Awful, just awful, a total embarrassment to TV in general, never mind Star Trek.

Lately we've been hooked on The Chase. The US version hit Netflix and since then we've been binging the UK version. Lots of full episodes in YouTube and with premium no ads. Quality is no bi deal as it's not important it's something we have on while we play chess. Also watching Snowpiercer but if I put that on while playing chess my wife takes forever to move.

Just got this, think my time will be spent watching video games eBay prices finally stopped being ridiculous. One advantage of living in a big city is I bought it at 8 am and the seller dropped it off to me by noon. I gave up trying to buy one online as I get notifications of when they become available at a reseller and literarily within a minute they are gone.

The Amazing Race AU has been fairly entertaining, because it looks like the producers fix it on the fly to achieve certain otcomes, and Impractical Jokers is back and still laugh out loud funny.

Tonight it'll be the Snyder cut. Looking forward to it and hopefully will get though the 4 hours in one sitting. Actually in my case one lying on my back with a Cryo/Cuff on my knee. Anyone else here seen it? Or are liking forward to it? So far I'm hearing good things about it.

Just recently watched and old collection box...DVDs, I do have VHS tapes of those too, mind .. of Wallace and Gromit films. Amazing stuff, especialy love the slow, even a bit melancholic comic in the Grand Day out.

Spoiler alert! Wrong Trousers has about the best chase scene ever, beats even Steve McQueen in his Mustang...

Nick Park is genius! Charming characters, great animation. Saw a documentary on him and his work. Great guy.

Loved the Wallace and Grommit movies, have them on VHS.

I admit it. I've been watching the Mudlarking vids on youtube. I would do that for a vacation if I could but I remember when my muck boot came off in the cow pasture and I fell down. My husband didn't tell me the finer points of buying muck boots , as in 'you want them to fit SNUG'. I went out the next day to the farm store and bought the most expensive pair I could find and charged them to his account. The cows are gone now, but not forgotten. I should bag the manure and sell it!

I'll be watching the 2021 ROME E-PRIX. I've never seen a Formula E race and it looks like it could be a fun watch. For those that don't know it's basically a Formula car (open top) with an all electric motor racing on small street courses.

Daughter was near-obsessed with seeing JoJo Rabbit ASAP. Our public library just got it..... and it was a good watch. Quirky, fair amount of dark humor, and as it deals with a German boy navigating life in Nazi Germany, some disturbing content. But really, a good watch.

We'd seen "Boy" by the same director (Taika Waititia) while back. Another worthwhile watch.

Bo Burnham inside. Absolutely brilliant and a must watch IMO. For a "comedy" special it's goes so much deeper than that and it will resonate with you.

I ran out of things to watch on Netflix so I started watching Greys Anatomy a show I vowed to never watch.... yeah it hooked me.

On our last trip to visit my MIL, we got her cable TV provider login information, and are now able to stream various services that we weren't able to before.

So we're currently working our way through Ink Masters on Paramount+. We're up to Season 8.

Watching it is reigniting our desire to get another tattoo (we each have 3, two that match each other, and one each from before we met). We've also come to realize that the tattoos we have are crap.

We've been watching Peaky Blinders. Didn't really notice it when it first came out, but now we've got 5 seasons of it.

It's really good. And the music was obviously chosen by a GenXer.

I grew up with most of the Dad's in my neighborhood having served in WW II.
As kids of the 50's were watched a bunch of war movies over the years.

Little late to the party but glad you finally got to Peaky. We started watching season 5 as well so got to binge. It's a great series and we were sad when we had watched them all. Season 6 is apparently in the can and will be the last though I've read something about a movie. Also cool to get Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds for the intro, works great.

Some sad news though is Helen McCrory (Aunt Polly) recently lost her battle to cancer and passed away at the young age of 52.
