Surprisingly good Indy film that I didn't expect to like, or even sit through. Excellent acting and solid script. Well paced, without the usual art film dead spots where you start checking what else is on.

I caught up on Book of Boba Fett. I'm disappointed that I didn't get the rivalry I was after, but I enjoyed it.

The Cowboy Bebop live-action remake was decent...up until the last couple episodes IMHO. I hate when remakes rewrite the story.

Binge-watched it yesterday. I think they did a great job with the casting. Don't get me wrong, I really liked Tom Cruise in his Reacher movies, but he's not the proper "size" if we want to stay true to the books...

Yeah, whenever we watch a Tom Cruise movie, and see that he's the same (or close to the same) height as another actor, we always wonder if he's standing on a box or if the other actor is standing in a pit. I've even looked up the heights of other actors to confirm our suspicions.

I love the books and second the better casting of a huge dude to play him.

I've never understood why they have to make Cruise taller. Let the man be the height he is! Normalize aspects of Discworld's Rule #1.

We ditched pay TV again because it really was a waste of our money. So, we've been checking out Tubi and Vudu and Crackle and stuff.

This weekend we caught ourselves watching the first episode of "Fantasy Island".

We didn't until about three years ago. We were duped into signing up for DirecTV by one of the WallyWorld salespeople, but to be fair we did save money over the existing phone/internet plan we had for the first year. Prior to that it had been about 20 years. I cut the cord when my cable bill went up over the $35 mark. But then the price kept creeping up, we didn't use it much and it was just time.

I can waste enough time for free on the internet. I don't need to pay for tv to do the same thing.

Following recommendations from some of you helpful people I started watching Reacher . Wow !!! Just my taste in viewing , no over complicated plots , the bad guys get their just desserts and Reacher is the correct and build . Excellent .

One other series I forgot to mention that I really enjoyed was Mare of Easttown , brilliant series. Sorry about the multiple posts , I have'nt got the worlds best memory .

I've seen quite a few movies so far this year. Nightmare Alley disappointed me, even though I really wanted to see it. Recently, Dog was a lot better than I expected, especially because of the poster. Uncharted really wants to be Indiana Jones XXV, and succeeds, kinda.
