Me, loving Fargo at the minute. Very, very good, and shaping up to be better than the first.

Got sucked into watching an American Thanksgiving classic "Gone with the Wind", for the umpteenth time with my mom... And I love that my mom (and I) both want to slap Scarlett... Too long, but some great scenes...
Also saw "The Desk Set". a 1957 classic with Spencer Tracy & Katherine Hepburn last night - what a fun film...

HBO's The Knick. Definitely one of the best on TV. What a glimpse into the past. How did anyone survive those surgeries?

I'm secure enough in my masculinity to admit that I'm enjoying The Great British Baking Show, streaming on Netflix.

I hear that ABC in the US is doing a 4-installment version of this "nice reality show" for the holiday season.

Other than that, it's streaming past seasons of New Girl, The Big Bang Theory, Jeopardy and CBS's Sunday Morning.

Also, just saw Spotlight with Michael Keaton and Mark Ruffalo. Absolutely brilliant!

Right now we are into Jessica Jones.

Loved Fargo. Looking forward to the current iteration.

Finished season 3 of Arrow and season 1 of The Flash. I'm very curious to see what season 4 of Arrow will be like, given how S3 ended.

Just seen Rush by Ron Howard, about Nikki Lauda and James Hunt and their ferocious rivalry during 1976 F1 championship.
Tbh, I thought I'll find it boring, like I do F1 itself, but actually it was immensely entertaining. Great movie about people, not cars.

Just finished season one of The man in the high castle. Pretty good, but then I loved fatherland by Robert Harris (book).

I just finally caved in and signed up for Netflix.
It's only been a month, but I've noticed my time reading books has gone down significantly.

However I have finally been able to see Orange is the New Black, which came highly recommended. Now I'm into Sons of Anarchy which seems to make me want to buy a Harley and get an "Old Lady".

Someone mentioned Homeland. Meh. I gave up on it after the first season. Sadly they are now filming in Berlin, so it now has a bit more interest factor for me... yet I'm not certain that I wish to invest the time.

Going to see Star Wars Episode VII on Friday. Can't wait!

Criminal Minds. Don't know how i didn't watch any of them. It's been on 11yrs. Really great casting and show. Been fun watching the whole series.

Last night saw the finish of Deutschland '83 - I was utterly gripped the whole way through.

The Misfits is brilliant. It was a shame the Irish lad left but the series rallied in the last season.

I just finished season 3 of Arrow, and am about to start watching The Flash. The Arrow was a fun show. I'm hoping the Flash is similar.

Jessica Jones was great. Agents of shield didn't hold my interest. I might give it another chance.

This.....mainly because my 18 month old son loves it (and partly because the theme tune is very catchy)

I just started watching a show called Нюхач. It's a police show from the Ukraine, but everyone's speaking Russian, so you don't have to speak Ukrainian to follow it. The English translation is "the Sniffer," and the main character has a pretty good sense of smell. While it's not a documentary by any stretch of the imagination, it does provide a window into that part of the world that we don't get from the news.

I'm a streaming junkie (cant stand network television) so stuff like Rectify, Wallander, Jessica Jones, Hinterlands, Shetland, River, Marcella,Happy Valley, Broadchurch,...currently checking out Fortitude. forgot about Justified, Mad Dogs..man so many I have poured through last winter when the weather keeps you in and nights are longer...I watch in shorter bursts this time of year.
