Saw the final installment of the Lord of the Rings trilogy today as part of the release of the extended editions on the big screen for the 25th anniversary.

I camped at one of the movie locations Wednesday night. Pelorus bridge, where the "down the river in barrels" scene was filmed. Stunning scenery.
This is a little upstream.

I binged "Total Control" the last few weeks. Aussie political drama centred on aboriginal rights. Brilliant viewing.

Enjoying lots of laughs re-watching The Drew Carey Show after many years.

I woke up really early this weekend and was looking for something different to watch.

I stumbled across a show called "The 4400" and watched the first three episodes. By the time the 3rd ended I think I've decided to stop. There are - I think - four seasons, but I was left with e very "meh". feeling. The acting wasn't good and I kept noticing "things" that were distracting, whether it was storyline or filming issues. I'm really surprised it lasted as long as it did.

See "The Bride" if you dare. There is a brief head smashing scene, a great number of bullets, and a lot of fun. Wow!

I'm going to see Kiki's Delivery Service on the IMAX. Opens March 13th.

I'm not sure how long it will run but they are showing it in Japanese with subtitles and dubbed to English with Kirsten Dunst, Phil Hartman, Jannene and Debbie Reynolds. I prefer the dubbed version.
