I am not convinced he has the right stator on his bike. It looks like a Euro stator on a US Bike. What wires are running to your rectifier? Since you are in Seattle: http://www.hodgespeed.com/
Yes he does need the right one - but Hodge can certainly help him figure that out as well. But if he's got the right one then the places mentioned will work for sure. Does Hodge rewire stators? If so I'd certainly trust his work as well.

I'm sure those places do fine work rewiring stators. I only mentioned hodge because he is in Seattle and his wiring diagram does not match up to the stator he is running. Someone locally needs to help him get it sorted. He could have the most beautifully wired stator in the world, but that won't do him any good if he is running the wrong harness.

Looking through his build photos, I can see that he has a Euro stator, probably with Bajaj coils to run 12 v bulbs, running to a a/c regulator (clipper?). He has also replaced his wiring harness...I think his problem is matching the right stator to the right harness.

Here is the stator, up close. On the bridge, there are no yellow wires. Even though clearly there were some time in the past.

The bottom coil is wired to upper left coil with the light green wire. I believe this confirms the 12v conversion job.

Do those two coils look original? Or do they look like aftermarket coils added later in life?
