The Joppling character in the movie "The Grand Budapest Hotel" rides an old BMW with outrigger skis, in a fashion similar to this photo.

It might be an easy sell to the wife if it was side by side seating and a 45 mph top speed. Then again with a limited top speed users would not necessarily be required to have a drivers license . Other videos of this are promoting ride sharing/rental use. Ride sharing seems so foreign to me I never grew up with that concept. Ride share seems to be to big of an idea for the little 20,000 population city I live in. My city just isn't big enough or my life isn't complex enough for what Toyota is envisioning. My generation has always thought of owning everything for themselves. From what I've read millennial's love to rent cars but this vehicle has very limited uses irrespective of how much appeal it has. It seems like Toyota is looking for a market or trying to develop one.
I think the Smart car is trying to fill the same nitch and we can see how few of those are sold. Urban congestion might give vehicles like these the push that is needed but it isn't happening in my town. |

Of course, this is always an option.
Had a 49cc engine and looked good to go. SnoRabbit was the name and had a gas tank in the frame. |

PAD well we do get snow. Except it's on another island and at 13,000ft. People come up with some pretty ingenious frankenscoots. Here's one tha i love. The guy probably doesn't worry about getting stopped. No self respecting cop would want to be seen writing a ticket for this. Here's a pic and i rest my case.
