While riding, I'm having trouble finding 2nd. After finding it, if I allow the shifting handle to, it will slide between 2nd and 3rd.
All research points to either shifting cables, or a worn cruciform. Maybe 2nd gear in backwards? The issue only seems to be 2nd.

I just want to get some feedback before we crack open the case.

Here's a video I made which will show the problem happening within the gear selector box. It seems like the cables are pretty tight, but I can pop out of 2nd easily and sit in between 2nd and 3rd.

Likely worn gears from a worn cruciform. I would be prepared to shim the gears as well.

My 2c.
Generally, a worn cruciform means gears jumping out. Your case looks like something being maladjusted or there is something going on in the gear selector box. Seek some professional help and if this doesn't cure things, split the case.
Let us know, cheers

Tried adjusting cables but still same issue. I seeked professional help, cracked open the case and the cruciform is majorly warn. Got that replaced along with a clutch rebuild and new front spring and shock. $$$, but should finally ride nicely!
