I know we have lots of nice noobies on here so I thought we could make a thread with some repeat information and various sites.

One site you may not know is Hellmutts Helmets: They refurbish old helmets and make them into basically ART. Take a look:

Some of those distinctly remind me of bowling balls from the 70s.

For a while, I'd actually thought about doing this with old bicycle helmets. But retired MC brain buckets hold up much better, and lend themselves to this treatment to nicer effect. Great examples here, Belk.

id love to get my carbon craft rx lid relined ..... its never been dropped n looks like new from the outside ..... cant find anywhere here thatll do it

Nice looking buckets! Some I *really* liked...I'm sure if I lived locally to their shop and could try on, I'd get in trouble.
