I bought a flywheel recently but I'm not sure if its a contact point flywheel or a electronic flywheel.

I'm guessing a Flywheel for a PX type engine. The "Ducati Electronica" gives the game away a bit, but searching the 991565 seems to turn up Px80 - PX150. Non-electric start.

I'm guessing I get scam by the seller, he told me that it can be use either contact point and cdi. if its 100% cdi but why does it have the window to adjust the contact point?

because that's where the timing marks are to time the electronic ignition staticly.

if so, would you mind teaching me more? I would to to know more about setting the timming using the window. because I've only knew there's a way using the degree wheel. thanks you so much.

when the marks on the case line up with the marks on the stator trigger, the ignition fires. you'd still need a means for measuring the advance before the firing point.

it's one of the three separate means means piaggio has used for setting electronic ignition timing.
those marks
those marks
these marks
these marks
both together
both together

That flywheel doesn't appear to have the eccentric lobe necessary to run points.

And the degree wheel is for finding location of the piston in regards to where the flywheel trips the pick-up. You'll still need a degree wheel to set your timing. The marks on the flywheel are for a visible indication.

The window in points flywheels is for adjusting the breaker. Since the lobe is what acts on the breaker, you need to set the gap with the flywheel installed and the breaker in fully opened position. Then you can adjust your timing by turning the stator.
