To nudge back towards topic - SFvsr can I assume you are in the "remove the studs" crowd? Sounds like it.
I'm in the "I'm pretty sure Piaggio had engineers design this shit" school of thought. If it was such a horrible idea to make the case out of aluminum and then use steel fasteners - oh god I'm just going to let this stupidity end. every single engine I've ever worked on has aluminum cases and steel fasteners screwing into them. Every single manufacturer of everything everywhere. But thank god someone on the Internet pointed out that it is a bad idea and what you should do is partially remove the swingarm bolt and struggle with pulling on the cylinder without the engine twisting shit all up - because THAT is why the engineers who designed it put that bolt there.

Unscrew the studs and then put them back in. It is what it was intended when the thing was designed. I understand that the effort of pulling the swingarm bolt is to facilitate the removal of the cylinder, but if the reason behind it is so you can save the threaded holes for the studs from getting ruined then it's pretty darned goofy.

your right its as easy as that,so is fitting a spark plug, changing oil and most other things people seem to get wrong from time to time

I mentioned the stud is steel and the case is alloy, they sell oversized studs for the common problem of stripped alloy threads,it was a warning of something that can and does happen, thats all

your going against simple metallurgy SFvsr

Yes steel into aluminum can corrode, it's a known metallurgical thing. I had no idea there were 2 passionate schools of thought on this task . The engine tilt people are afraid of stripping studs and the stud people are afraid of wrecking the frame. Got it!

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. I rode the thing today, no stripped studs here.
