Hi All,

been a while since my last post.

I have a very strange electrical problem in my mp3 250 (2009)

No indicators/hazards and no parker lights and the seat button does not work.

I have checked and replaced all fuses near the right hand foot well and near the battery and checked the plugs going into the back of the dash. Everything else works fine (engine/dash/tilt lock/high & low beam)

anyone have this problem before i may have to strip it down and see if i have a dud plug or something. sounds like no power is being fed to the circuit these are on

check the wiring schematics and see if one of the relays control all those.

yeah when i had the front off the other day one of the relays was a bit hot. when i get home from work i will have a look at the schematic to see if one of that bank of 4 is supposed to control it.

there is also a flasher unit somewhere isnt there?

Fuse number 4 feeds a blue wire that powers the turn signal module and the saddle receiver. Not sure which fuse box that is but its a 15amp fuse that is fed constant power from the battery. Best thing to do is print up a large format diagram from the wiki and trace out the problem areas then check the path with a multimeter.

can also be corroded contacts on the fuseblock. The footwell block is prone to that.

pick your scoot from the list. I would download it to a thumb drive, take it to an office supply store have it printed and laminated as large as possible. I use grease pencils to follow the circuits.

I agree with the above, and maybe use a Voltage Meter from a light that is not working back to the fuse panel.
Most often something like this, that looks very bad is something simple.
I always have spare relay's, fuses, and also MP3 Modules to swap and diagnose a problem. Only change one thing at a time, if that does not work, put the original back, and then change something else.
