Is the engine turning over? If not likely a sticky bendix gear...

LX150 has sticky Bendix

Hi mate

Might be worth checking your battery too.

So your spark was wet from fuel? No issue there then.

The only other things you need is air, compression and a spark. Check the spark plug and your leads and also check the battery as mentioned.

Also clean out the air filter if it hasn't been done in a while, might be struggling to breath.

If the problem keeps coming back its more than likely ignition.

There's a few other things it could be, but id start there

Also, is this the fuel injected model or carb?

Good luck!

Ahh yes she will be a carby. Maybe its time to inspect the carb. Sounds like something is getting the float needle stuck in the float bowl causing your temporary flooding issue. But I own an injected bike and could be talking out my arse with that one

Anyhow.., if the air filter looks good which it probably is if you're running fine, then id suspect it to be carb related.

Ya know i think they do it to bother us. Mine has done that and there is no reason why it doesn't start (no wet spark plug tho). I know this sounds screwy but i had my mechanic check the bike out after it wouldn't start and he couldn't find anything. Could of been a loose spark plug. Was it wet from gas or water?
