I took my skoot outside and the brake lever got bent. The rear stand sunk in the mud and my skoot was just laying there...

I there any protocol for bent brake levers? Can they be bent back? Can my day be bent back?

They can't be bent back safely - but new ones are cheap! I carry a spare at home just in case.

I think you can purchase one at scooterwest or one of the other larger dealers. I bent a lever one time and was able to purchase one from an MV member for $10 IIRC. You might advertise for one. After I replaced the bent one, I tried bending the old one back to see if it would break. It did. So just geta new one.

Best

a lever can be bent back. a tricky process though and like others have said they are weaker and can break. best just get a new one.

The Dog Leg Levers are great! With my small hands, it made my GTS a much more comfortable and safer ride. And it's a quick, simple change.
