yes - its basket is banded/reinforced to handle power as the stock item can explode from higher revs and power.

well... how far is this built? the stock unit can take a bit more punishment than you'd think.

unless you are going crazy with it i'd throw a banded basket at most.

most who want to go to a more rugged clutch go to the later cosa style as it has more plates and requires much less spring pressure to not slip.

A cosa with an upgraded basket to take 16 springs instead of the normal 8 is fairly easy on the hands.

however, they are not all created equal; usually i recommend going to clutch basket by a tuning company as there have been fit issues with the stock-style ones.

Looks like a good setup. I put together the same basic thing. I used:

SIP SeriePro banded clutch basket
Surflex Plates
Pinasco Sport Springs

Clutch pull is not much greater than stock. Scootermercato has the plates and basket. Not sure on the springs though.
