Hi guys, I'm new here. I recently picked up a 2007 Piaggio Fly 150 from a local scooter store. It was just sitting behind the shop and I was told all it would need was a battery, some parts to be reattached, and maybe a carb clean. It seemed like a pretty good deal for $250. However, my dilemma right now is that I can't seem to locate the right part for the transmission cover. I have scoured all the service and parts manuals online but they never show the one i'm missing. A similar part is usually referred to just as a "cover" but it never is the right shape or size for my alleged "2007 Piaggio Fly 150". I was hoping the forum's collective wisdom could help to identify what i'm missing here.

The part I need fits in the empty space on the left side of the cover

1st problem is you have a piaggio fly 50cc four stroke engine

The missing part is the transmission filter & cover

Yes, that is not a Leader engine. What you have is a HiPer4 engine.

If it just needed a quick tidy up the shop would do it themselves.

Indeed. Not to mention, they sold the 50cc as 150cc! I'd demand my money back.
