Who's commuting on a monkey?
I see a guy regularly commuting on a little monkey bike
Me too but I was just asking Claude because no one in this thread has mentioned that they commute on a monkey bike?
It was just a joke you guys. I was just commenting on the size of the bike as someone wanted a comparison hence the pic and how silly a rider looks on it. Jeez.

You found that out once in your horrific prang... and that tested your limits and capabilities in that situation.

I have been there myself and the speed that shit happens surprised me both times. Neither my fault.

Valentino Rossi would not have been able to avoid my prangs.

Exactly right ..but if I worried about crashing and other people every second then I wouldn't bother riding but i do learn believe it or not ..i never critisze others riding (unless they're speeding down the pavement etc) ..

The basis of my vids on my channel are to make people smile or think (and a hobby) ..so even if its thinking I'm always in the wrong, its thinking about riding so although negative towards me may be beneficial to others
Don't bring the subject up then.

Last week, my girlfriend was tailgated, honked and shown rude gestures by a young female just because she was sticking to the speed limit on a country lane.

Had to redress the balance there. And let's not stereotype. Both, men and women can start physical s**t.

I know, right? I've lived in London some time ago. No thanks, not for me. But it did teach me how to filter the traffic well

Yep, Early Grom. With the two stroke it would really rip. There's a lot of small bikes in Tokyo. I haven't been there for a while but I bet the Grom is popular.

A friend had an imported DT50LC when he was 16 and it was very nippy compared to the air cooled ones we had in the UK. It showed 50mph on the speedo.

Two strokes. It's amazing what a small two stroke can do. Sadly, they're little planet killers. I've read here and there that some company's are working on getting the emissions sorted trying to bring the two stroke back to life.

Mr Fish is having fun. It was fun to watch (though the "music" was nothing special). I didn't see any problems with the riding. If a Grom would blip the throttle at me like that, I'd growl back

Maybe with the old technology, but just not true any longer.

This past summer I bought a new Evinrude ETEC 2 stroke outboard for my classic Boston Whaler. Evinrude is owned by BHP, who also makes the Can-am Spyder.
Because of their engine management system and patented fuel injectors, Evinrude ETEC motors are 2-stroke engines that are cleaner than any comparable four stroke engine.

All Evinrude E-TEC outboards are compliant with all U.S. EPA, CARB and EU emissions legislations.

With the evolution of two-stroke direct injection by BRP, an entirely new technology was created with Evinrude E-TECs that produces lower emissions levels than four-stroke technology. The complete line of Evinrude E-TEC two-stroke direct injection outboards complies with all three governing agencies' stringent emissions standards and has been awarded the 2005 Clean Air Technology Excellence Award by the U.S. EPA. Evinrude E-TEC engines have the industry's best ultra-low emissions rating and produce fewer emissions than any outboard engine in the world.

The question is: when will BRP utilize this technology on motorbikes?

Seen some utter-nutter stuff in these parts as well, although some of the cager moves I've seen in some of your videos is particularly hair-raising. Actually helped me a bit reading the "body language" of drivers here. As car passenger, cyclist, and now scooterist, not much surprises me anymore.
