I have used these LED lights in my 2013 BMW R1200GS LC with superior results. I passed on the LED $1200 upgrade when I purchased the bike. The auxiliary lights are LED and made the headlights look weak so I was glad to get LED headlights for $130 and a little work taking off plastic parts to get the headlight assembly off.
The nice thing about these lights is the heat sink is composed of 4 loops of thick metal mesh that are spread out and molded to fit in a very small space or inside a headlight bucket. The electronics are on a wire extension that plugs into the female light socket on your bike. I liked it so much I ordered more, one I placed in my 1993 Honda CB750 and the other in my 1976 BMW R90/6. I also put one in my 2000 Honda Shadow Sabre VT1100 along with two LED H3's for the running lights. The extra voltage jumped from 12.5 to 13.75 while driving at highway speeds.
Sadly, the fit in the bucket of the R90/6 was so tight I was worried about heat next to the critical wires and fuses found there and decided not to use it on that bike.
So now I have a spare H4 Cree LED
And was considering putting it in the GTS250ie.
Do I have to remove the front panel on the Vespa to change the headlight? It wouldn't surprise me if I do.
