I know this general topic has been beaten to death but I can't find the answer. After shutdown and letting the scoot sit, it floods (unless I turn off the tap and run the carb dry) I just rebuilt the carb but the symptom remains the same. My question: is the seat for the float needle a likely failure (I replaced the needle /float)? I hate to throw parts at a problem without good reason. Also, is it possible the new needle could be defective.
Thanks!
