My 1986 PX150 is in good shape on the outside, the starter works, the US style fuel tap is good.
I noticed that it is harder to push around the garage than my old T5. Front wheel spins but with effort. I think new bearings. I tried to get the front hub off but could not. I will order bearings and try again.
I also noticed that the air hose is perished.
I am going to order parts this week so I can go into the garage while my wife watches Fargo.
Might as well order it all at once.
What needs changing on a 30 year old scooter that has 200 miles on the odometer and hasn't been ridden since 1986?

Probably not much. Was it stored dry? Or was fuel sitting in the tank and carb?

New fuel and oil hoses, new tires, I'd rebuild the carb with a new needle. Your bearings may be just fine and the issue may be just that the grease has dried/gelled up. Your seals may be bad, but I would not tear into it unless you have evidence that is the case.

Runs well, I adjusted the clutch cable and front brake, motor sounds good.
There is surface rust on the floor boards and I'm worried about prizing up the runners to deal with that. The electrics are all fine.

The rubber bits....if they have not been changed, they will need it.

NO matter the miles, time takes its toll on rubber parts. So tires, shocks, hoses (oil gas, maybe the spark plug wire). And the engine seals, which are NOT compatible with our ethanol blended fuels.

Otherwise... rock on.
