I noticed that when I start my bike and ride under 32 F the air temperature display blinks. Is this a Piaggio Safety feature? Has anyone else notice this happens on their bike or is something wrong with my bike. I didn't hit the mode button or anything.

Yes, it's a safety feature. My 07 Vespa has it as well.
But it flashes at 36deg as an ice warning.

Correct...
My Car / Truck does the same to warn for ice.

Good to know, thanks for asking the question! I live in Southern California, and it does get down to about 30 on rare occasions here and would have been surprised or curious about the flash as well.
