I bought an Mp3 Yourban 300 Lt, new in May last year in Spain. When I go down a hill the engine will sometimes cut out. I reported this to the garage and they said it would be fixed at the first service. I began to feel very nervous on the bike. It cut out half way round a rounderabout in heavy traffic and I thought I was going to be rammed from behind. This has continued to happen despite the garage changing many parts in the ignition and fuel system.They have had the bike on 5 or 6 occasions.
It was meant to be fixed before Christmas. I picked it up, full of hope only for it to cut out within 20 minutes. I immediately returned it to the garage and they have had it ever since. Last week they rang me to say that at last the problem had been found - a sticking piston in the fuel system - and a new part had been fitted. They said that they needed the master key for resetting and the bike would be ready after they had tested it the next day. I took them the key and waited for a phone call'
I heard nothing so rang them. Apparently the fix hadn't worked and the bike had been sent to Piaggio. I have never been offered another bike to use whilst mine is being mended and have totally lost confidence I my scooter and the garages ability to fix it.
Has anyone else suffered similar problems?
Am I within my rights to reject the scooter. It's only done 1200km. Should I expect either a new scooter or my money back?
Any advice would be gratefully received!!!

Fuel pump been replaced?

How about the most current software for the ECU.

Injector been replaced or checked for leaking or not functioning properly.

This will not help you how to solve problem. But maybe it will be easier if you know that you are not the only one

I had similar problems. But only after first take off. If Mp3 survived first take off it was fine. Sometimes it stalled right after start. You can see that here

I first noticed this when Yourban was two days old. On first year my scooter was at the dealership for 5 months (at least they gave me replacement Mp3 when i was without mine I rode with this replacement scooter from late May to October). Every time when they told me that the problem is solved (first they swapped throttle cable and grip, after that they swaped starter motor (i dont know why), than again they swaped stator (i dont see any connection with my problem)) I was back at dealership next day.
At the end they were telling me that my scooter is ok and i was imagining the problems. After they caled me to pick up the scooter for last time it stalled at first take off on test ride. They saw it. But it was suposed to be normal.... WTF.... Owner of dealership olso told me that every engine is differend and some stall and some dont. I work as car mechanik and i told him pleas dont tell me nonsense.
I told them to change ECU-throttle flap, only this can be the problem. But they knew better. So i went form being calm (i managed to be calm for 5 months) to losing my patience in seconds. I threatened them with lawsuit and other legal stuff. Next day when i went back to take scooter home everything was different. Idle was much smoother, Going back to idle was also much better. Throttle response was more crisp and accurate. It felt like different engine.
What did they do with the engine i dont know. Nobody wanted to tell. One day ago they were telling me that everything is ok and next day after law suit threat all I heard was: It should work now.

This was around 1500km, now i have 7500km and during that time it only stalled once.

So my advice is to take some videos of the problem and make as much evidence as you can. So that you can threat with lawsuit. I had everything on paper, every cmunication all the dates etc. This can be good wake up call for them. It worked in my case.

But at the end i would still like to know which part did they swap at the last day
