Have you tried Beedspeed Josh? Don't know how they compare for price but I've always found postage cheap and fast with them. Postage from the US is mental.

Don't shoot me down, but have you considered a decent Indian supplier? I know quality can be an issue, but they can't all be bad.....can they??

You'll have to order more stuff to justify the postage.

SIP charges EUR21.76 euro

Scooter Centre charges EUR25-27 euro

Mauro Pascoli charges EUR50 euro

No big deal when you see the difference in price for a 24/24 at GPS import in Melbourne costs $179 and one at SIP costs $88 AUD

It's so hard to know (but I'm guessing) that the ones from India are the same thing as you buy from SIP.
I bought a bracket from SIP once, it came in a bag with a [redacted] part number on it.

About $67 including postage.

Try PM Tuning, they generally stock original parts, they are a UK based scooter shop so postage may again be expensive. Theres also Ron Daley again generally only sells original parts.

http://www.pmtuning.co.uk/b0si24-24e

it looks like the carb is made by Spaco & Delortto, this seems to be the case these days.

PM Tuning, also offer free postage within the UK for orders over £50 so you could get a friend or even I could send them on to where ever you are, this way you may avoid import tax as they can post them as a gift.

Talk to Derek from ScooterLabs... He does a weekly order from them.

If getting people together for a big buy ensure you keep total under $1000 else there is GST.

the other Center that sells Scooter parts does a fixed freight price, great for bulky items.

Also just for Aussie interest, apparently from July 2017 there will be GST applied to all imports from just $20.

I reckon the Indian ones would be ok. There's not much to them. I stripped the thread on the fuel banjo and replaced the carb top cover with Indian and no probs. The new PXs use Indian Spaco carbs. I've found Beedspeed cheapest for postage.

I try to use the local shops wherever possible anyway- good service- good for the scene. GST on parts above $20 will seal that deal!

you'd think so, but there are some really, really shitty pattern SI carbs out there. you wouldn't believe the stories i could tell from when i worked in sourcing at a major US shop.
